As every business owner knows, the benefits in being surrounded by a great team are enormous – it’s the reason we choose to employ people and grow, allowing us to do what we do best in helping our clients.

Part of my decision last year to merge my business with businessDEPOT was the opportunity to fast-track my team building again – and the benefits to my business relationships are showing. Not only do I now have a lot more time to catch up and chat, I’m finally sharing more of my expertise and business systems online.

The first internal project in this regard is called Blackboard Fridays. Every week I’m let loose in front of a camera for 5 minutes to share a key insight or process that I know from experience helps business owners to identify their problems, design a better solution, or implement that solution as a sustainable system.

I’m having a lot of fun creating these, and the feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive.
